Plz revise the short pargarph plz its urgent!?

The Royal Riffles of Canada sailed from Vancouver under the command of Lawson to defend Hong Kong. Although, the Canadian army didn’t trained, the war with Japan was not threatening. They just went to HK for garrison duty. Ironically, these Canadian soldiers were the first units to fight in the Second World War. Although, Canada tried to protect HK, the rising power of Japan was too much for Canada. In 1941, the Japanese were in control of the New Territories-China border. For Malyby’s military force, the commander of HK, was made up of British, Canadian, and Indian armies which was only 14000 soldiers. After fighting against the Japanese, Canada surrendered The role Canadian troops played in the outcome was traumatic because not only they lost the small battle, they also led the pathway to Japan to have ultimate power over Asia. Canada was supposed to send well-trained troops to Hong Kong and face Japan, who won the battle against Russia and China. Canadians should be aware of Japan.
