What does a medicial coder have to do when working from home and what experience do they need?

Medical coders are very important because they need to run the hospital's or practice's patient data. Medical coders can work from home, but they also work from hospitals, clinics, doctor's offices, nursing homes, and group practices. They earn approximate $39,000 a year, but after at least ten years of experience, they can earn up to $45,000 a year. When they work at home, they are basically completing the same job as at work. They must interpret and yze data and then put it into the data system. You need a certificate and exam to become a medical coder. You should check out certain programs around your area.
