Does anyone know how to care/clean a kooshball?

My daughter has one of those big rubber that you squeeze and that have all those rubber 'tentacle' looking things on it. Anyway, she spilled milk on it so I rinsed it off and now it is sticky even after drying for days. I can't find any info online. Thanks!
