I have to make a bridge out of straws, string, cardboard, and elmers glue. What is the best way to do this?

It must go over a 9 in span, be 1 1/2 in wide, and be under 3 in in height. Im not sure what type of bridge to make, but I have done research and found that straws are strong in triangles and have made a practice bridge. I wanted to try a suspension bridge too but cant think of how to make it all stand. Thanks for any suggestions!
