What should i do? Please help me out!!!?

On my matrimonial profile visit, i was having a awaiting response of a guy. and later i got his number and with initial miss calls and then phone calls we started talking to eachother trying to know eachother well, but when i actually told him i found him on my matrimony visit he said that his parents have done it not him and he is not interested in all this and he only wants to be my friend not anything more than that. But he also knows that my parents are finding a match for me. ? and he also says plz dont forget this friend of yours if you get a fine match and i have started liking him already, so what should i do? should i continue speaking to him or i should cut the friendship?
