Why does my speedometer read faster than I'm going?

try takeing the cable off the speedometer . Then put grafite lube in the cable houseing. Clean the cable with cleaner put calbe back in the to make sure it is seated in the lower gear. This should help the jumping. check your tirer size if it is stock. all speedometer are off some. good luck
