Is Google no longer a Search Engine?

To answer a reply just received. I watch TV and read books and this often stimulates me to look something up or find out what has happened to someone. I want to find out about Lloyd George to-day (in a minute....). It has been a great help to me in providing links to my many interests, including by new Nick Clegg interest, and my history and Genealogy, Genetics, Physics, Literature, Cheap Petrol, etc. etc.
